Photo-actuating Polymer Valve Experiments

Shane Deegan and Nahidul Islam of Aquila Bioscience visited DCU on the 13th October 2014 to conduct experiments with DCUs’ Simon Coleman on their photo-actuating polymer valves.  The aim of the visit was to test if the polymer valves facilitated bacterial adhesion and subsequent contamination of the system (WP2).

Biological testing of photo responsive polymer valves.
